Dalton's Legacy

The Dalton Troy Foundation, created by his mother, Nicole Graham, February 2023, is to honor Dalton Troy Baker’s memory and carry on his legacy of BELIEVING IN YOURSELF, ENCOURAGING OTHERS, and SPREADING HOPE.

Dalton Troy Baker died of accidental fentanyl poisoning on February 24, 2022, at the forever age of 17.  His untimely death greatly impacted family, friends, and the local community.  We, the Dalton Troy Foundation, family and friends, are determined to continue Dalton Troy’s memory and legacy by raising community awareness of fentanyl and substance abuse.

He deeply loved and defended his friends and family.  From a very young age, he looked for opportunities to help others in need, encouraging his friends to believe in themselves, believe in each other, and to believe there was hope in all things.  His incredible spirit and contagious smile was infectious and inspiring, showing love and kindness to everyone he met.  Dalton Troy left his footprints on the heart of everyone he met.

He would want his story to be shared, with the desire to educate everyone to:

Live your Life everyday as if it were your last. Spread love, kindness, joy, and hope to everyone you meet, every day. Look for opportunities to help people BELIEVE IN THEMSELVES, ENCOURAGE OTHERS, AND SPREAD HOPE. Be a better person to everyone you know and meet. Cherish your life, your loved ones, and help others in need. Always remember God’s love for you.

2023 would have been Dalton Troy’s Senior year, one he was very much looking forward to. And because a student’s Senior year is filled with the excitement of graduating, making important lifetime decisions, many who are moving on to the next phase of life, and many on to college, it is the focus of the Dalton Troy Foundation’s fundraising efforts to not only help support those who may need assistance in finding hope in their challenging situation but also offer Memorial Scholarships to Horry County High School Seniors who emulate Dalton Troy’s legacy of BELIEVING IN THEMSELVES, ENCOURAGING OTHERS, AND SPREADING HOPE TO THOSE IN NEED

I know you’re dancing in the sky, my sweet Dalton Troy! I love you more! - Mom, Nicole Graham
